The title has absolutely nothing to do with the actual content in this blog but I thought it was fun. Hehe. Yeah. I’m a bit dorky today.


















I know I’ve been neglecting my duties as a blogger but that’s just because I’m waiting for people to comment on my lovely blog post (the previous one) to enter my contest for a chance to win a BIG box of books! All you have to do is say, “Tess. I think you should have a weekly blog post about (insert your idea for blog post here).” Ta Da! Your name is in the drawing. Whoever has the idea that fits my blog the best, gets a big box of free books! Yeay!!



Okay. Now for the actual purpose of this blog. Here are the five things that you can look forward to seeing from me in the future:



1. Once September starts, every Thursday I’ll have an author interview. It’s called Writers on Writing and authors will be asked a series of questions about their writing style and what books we can look forward to seeing from them in the future.



2. Under my other name, Nisha Sharma, I spoke about the YA novel at Janice Curran’s facebook page. If you check her facebook out at www.facebook.com/janice.curran, I’ve answered questions and talked about the important facets of the YA genre.



3. I’ve finished my first round of edits from my editor at TWRP and you should be seeing a cover in the near future! Yeay!!



4. I’m thinking about posting different blog addresses that I read each week so you can check out all the fun stuff I’m finding on line, too!



5. Once I announce the winner of my blog contest, I’ll be posting a weekly column on whatever the column topic will be.



I know some of you know that I’m a law student so if I get behind some days, I’m sorry! It happens unfortunately. I have a full schedule, a demanding job, edits for my YA and my Adult fic to do, as well as two active blogs, facebooks, and twitters. (I know, I get a headache just reading all that, too). So bear with me!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my bright and shiny new website and blog! For those of you who know that I write under a young adult name as well can recognize the blog layout, but shh! don’t tell anyone!



First, let me introduce myself. My name is Tess Quinn and I write for The Wild Rose Press. My novella ‘The Bewitched Cowboy’ will be coming out in a couple months. I am currently working on a second novella that is actually a prequel to ‘The Bewitched Cowboy.’



As a Wild Rose Press author, I know that it is my sworn duty to have an active internet presence, so to launch my blog, I am going to start off with a little contest!



Each week, I am going to have two columns that are going to run like clockwork. One column will be a ‘Writer’s on Writing’ column, much like my YA blog in which I ask five questions about writing to an author. The second column is something that I still can’t figure out.



So here is the contest part. What weekly column on my blog would you like to see? Leave your ideas as a comment below and I will pick the one I like best after a week. The winner will receive a BIG box of books that I collected at the RWA National Conference!
