Hello everyone, and welcome to my bright and shiny new website and blog! For those of you who know that I write under a young adult name as well can recognize the blog layout, but shh! don’t tell anyone!

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Tess Quinn and I write for The Wild Rose Press. My novella ‘The Bewitched Cowboy’ will be coming out in a couple months. I am currently working on a second novella that is actually a prequel to ‘The Bewitched Cowboy.’
As a Wild Rose Press author, I know that it is my sworn duty to have an active internet presence, so to launch my blog, I am going to start off with a little contest!
Each week, I am going to have two columns that are going to run like clockwork. One column will be a ‘Writer’s on Writing’ column, much like my YA blog in which I ask five questions about writing to an author. The second column is something that I still can’t figure out.
So here is the contest part. What weekly column on my blog would you like to see? Leave your ideas as a comment below and I will pick the one I like best after a week. The winner will receive a BIG box of books that I collected at the RWA National Conference!
The contest runs until the end of August, get yourself moving, guys! I can’t wait to hear your ideas!

Column idea: How YA has changed over the years and how it’s still evolving.
LOVE the website!
Hi, Tess! Neat look.
Best wishes on your launch. re the contest, I’m thinking . . . How about a motivational blog to complement your how-to blog? Everyone could use a shot of “oomph” in their day.

Beautiful site, Tess. Love it. You will have lots of traffic with all the info available. Best wishes. AJ
I forgot the idea. Duh! I know you are and avid reader. ;>) Why not do a discussion and breakdown of a novel?
Mhm. What if you do something that talks about stuff to help authors? like websites and programs or something?
You can always do like a book review. Your favorite books of all time or whatever you’re reading for the week.
What about something that doesn’t do with writing? Recipes, movies, something in the news.
Writer tips! Characterization, POV, voice, etc.
